Degas
The Sansevero Degas hotel is situated in Piazza del Gesù, one of the place-symbol of the historical centre of Napoli, crossed by the famous Spaccanapoli street and characterized by monuments among the most famous of the town: the churches of Santa Chiara and Gesu’ Nuovo and the guglia dell’Immaculata. The hotel is situated in an old building of the XVIIIth century named Pignatelli Monteleone, conceived by Guglielmo Sanfelice in 1718 and that has belonged to the family of the painter Edgard Degas, who stayed in several times. On the third floor of the stylish building, characterized by a magnificent entrance door in stone of piperno, you are welcomed in a warm and bright atmosphere, result of the alliance between the yellow and orange.
