The “Antica Dimora Patrizia” lies in the historical centre of Montecarlo, at the foot of the 14th-16th century fortress. It is a medieval mansion which has been completely restored in 2000.
Managed by a family, the “Antica Dimora Patrizia” has four luxury bedrooms and two junior suites. Each bedroom has en suite private facilities, direct-dial telephone, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, heating, hairdryer and charming pieces of antiques furniture.
On the ground floor there is a wide hall with a piano where you may have a drink, a little and elegant restaurant where you can taste local, regional and Italian delicacies and the “Enoteca Lavagna” which is a disposal for tasting the best local “D.O.C.” wines of Montecarlo and the hills of Lucca.
On the first floor the “Giotto” hall is perfect for a reception, an exhibition or a meeting.
Its territory, running right across “the Wine Route of Montecarlo and the hills of Lucca”, is still fairly uncontaminated. Montecarlo can be easily reached from the airports of Pisa (50 km) and Florence (55 km) and from the motorway exit of Altopascio (6 km).
It is only a few miles from the art cities of Tuscany (Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Pistoia) and not far away from tourist resorts like Collodi (8 km), Montecatini Terme (15 km) and the Versilia (45 km).
