Five minutes walking distance is Via Giulia with its elegant aristocratic residences and antique shops, the famous Navona Square, and the Pantheon.The apartment is located on the third floor (no elevator) of a 15th century building, decorated with frescos which are still visible on the façade. Actually, the building is mentioned as an example of art and history in the “Guide to the districts of Rome”.From the luminous living room there is a wonderful view on the roof-top terraces with pots of lemon trees and beyond to the dome of the Church of San Carlo ai Catinari. The apartment of 50 sq. m. has two rooms and has recently been restored. Access to the apartment is by a characteristic internal staircase. The living room with kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom all lead off the entrance hall.The spacious living room is furnished with a dining area, with a fully furnished kitchenette, with an antique cupboard, and a sitting area with TV set and a comfortable double sofa-bed. Two big windows make this a bright and cheerful room. The kitchen is equipped with the usual appliances and there is a washing machine. The bathroom with shower is well furnished and functional, the sink is built in a marble surface and there is a dressing table for your make-up. The white walls and terracotta floors give the apartment a Mediterranean atmosphere. Comfortable bedroom with its queen size bed and spacious wardrobe, independent heating, A/C. (even if the characteristically thick walls of the old buildings of Rome prevent excessive heat in summer or cold in winter). Bed linen and bath towels are provided.
